PeptideUp · Focused Value - FZCO · Effective October 21, 2026

In one sentence: your health data stays on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud. PeptideUp has no accounts, no analytics on health data, and nothing to sell.

What stays on your device

Doses, injection sites, comfort ratings, side effects, weigh-ins, meals, water, your stack, your Cold Vault, what you paid for your medicine, your progress photos and your plan are stored in the app's database on your iPhone. If iCloud is on, they sync through Apple's private CloudKit database tied to your Apple ID. We cannot read it.

Progress photos

Progress photos are re-encoded when you add them, which drops location and camera details. They are never written to your camera roll, never sent to PeptideUp or to any AI, and are not included in the data export. "Cover faces with Pengu" finds faces with Apple's on-device Vision framework; nothing is uploaded. A before-and-after image leaves your phone only when you share it yourself, and by default it shows the day of your journey and the percent change, not your weight or the date.

What leaves your device, and only when you ask

Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, PeptideUp reads weight, body fat, steps, protein, water and fiber and writes the weigh-ins, meals and water you log. Doses are never written to Apple Health. Health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.

AI processing

Our server proves each request comes from the real app (Apple App Attest) and forwards it to a third-party model provider under a contract that limits use to processing your request. Provider and retention terms are listed below and will be kept current. Provider: Anthropic (Claude). Retention: requests are not used to train models; the provider's abuse-monitoring retention applies.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We receive no payment details. To use Ask Pengu and the meal scanner, the app sends our server the Apple-signed proof of your subscription so the server can check it; it holds no name, email or payment details.

Ad attribution

PeptideUp uses Apple's AdAttributionKit to learn whether an ad led to an install. The app reports at most four coarse business steps (finishing setup, viewing the paywall, starting a trial, subscribing) to Apple, which passes them on without any identifier for you or your device. No health data is ever part of it, there is no advertising identifier, and no tracking across apps or websites.
