Consumer Health Data Privacy

PeptideUp · Focused Value - FZCO · Effective October 22, 2026

In one sentence: almost everything you log stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, where we cannot see it; the only health information that passes through us is what you send when you ask Pengu a question or scan a meal, and we do not keep it.

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and describes how PeptideUp handles consumer health data, including as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar state laws.

Health data we collect

Doses, injection sites, comfort ratings, side effects, weigh-ins, meals, water, progress photos and your medicine list are stored in the app on your iPhone and, if iCloud is on, in your private iCloud. PeptideUp does not collect them: they never reach our servers.

We process health data only in these two cases, and only when you use them:

Why we process it

Solely to answer your question or estimate your meal, and to protect the service from abuse (a count of requests per subscription, with no content). We do not use health data for advertising, profiling or training AI models, and we do not sell it.

Where it comes from

Directly from you, through the app.

Who we share it with

We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use to providing the service:

Requests are processed and discarded. PeptideUp does not store your messages, your summaries or your meal photos.

Your rights

You can see, export or delete everything you have logged at any time in the app: Settings › Your data (export a spreadsheet and a full backup, or delete all data). Because we do not keep your health data, there is nothing about you on our servers to access or delete. You can withdraw consent for meal photos in Settings at any time, and you can stop using Ask Pengu at any time.

To make a request or ask a question, write to support@peptideup.app. We respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with "appeal"; we respond to appeals within 45 days, and if you are not satisfied you may contact your state's Attorney General.
